For Media

Contact an academic

Journalists are encouraged to download the University of Melbourne's Election Experts Guide (coming soon).

The guide includes academics' expertise and contact details.

You can also search the University's comprehensive Find an Expert database.

After hours phone numbers are available for many academics, though a password is required.

Please contact University Communications to request access.

Republish an article

Unless otherwise stated, all content on Election Watch is Creative Commons (read more).

This basically means you can republish our materials on your website or blog so long as you credit the author, Election Watch and the University of Melbourne.

Additionally, you must not change the work in any substantial way.

Please contact the author for permission to significantly alter their work.

Book the University studios (TV or radio)

Dr Barbara Keys prepares for a live cross with ABC24 in March.

The University of Melbourne has industry standard TV and radio studios available for live crosses
and pre-recorded interviews.
Booking is easy:

  1. Contact the academic to arrange a time.
  2. Ring University Communications (+61 3 8344 4123) and request a booking. Make sure you specify which studio you require.
  3. University staff will then provide you with the connection details, including the IFB (TV) and ISDN (radio).
