Souresh Roy is Research Assistant to the Director of the Australia India Institute, whose responsibility is to monitor international and regional relations, security issues and associated policy challenges - with particular reference to the role of China in the region and its impact on both India and Australia.
He also initiates research support to the Director through accessing appropriate data and documents in India and elsewhere for utilisation in broader projects. Souresh has a Masters in Conflict Analysis and Peacebuilding, and an M.Phil in International Relations (specialising in Diplomacy and Disarmament issues) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
