Suresh Prabhu

Suresh Prabhu was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India and is a member of the Shiv Sena political party. He has been a Member of Parliament for four consecutive terms and active in a wide range of committees and forums on health, finance, commerce, energy and industry. He has servede as a minister in the Government of India in portfolios including Environment and Forests, Fertilizers and Chemicals, and Power, Heavy Industry and Public Enterprises. He was elected a member of the World Bank parliamentary network and nominated as the Chairman of the South Asia Water conference. Mr Prabhu is Adjunct Professor at National Institute of Advanced Studies and is currently pursuing two PhDs, one from Germany and the other from Mumbai.
