Dr Cameryn Garrett

Cameryn Garrett is a researcher working in the field of young people’s sexual and reproductive health.  She has completed her Master of Women’s Health and PhD at the Centre for Women’s Health, Gender, and Society. 

She is currently working on a research project investigating young mothers’ access to and uptake of the Government’s Paid Parental Leave.

In 2011, Australia joined other OECD countries by offering a Paid Parental Leave scheme. With alternate policies being proposed by the Coalition and Greens, PPL is an important point of policy difference.  Professor Anne Kavanagh and Dr Cameryn Garrett.
