Lily Yulianti Farid is an Indonesian journalist and communication specialist, researcher and PhD student at the School of Social and Political Science, University of Melbourne. She has worked for Indonesian's leading newspaper, Kompas (1996-2000), Radio Australia, ABC , Melbourne (2001-2004) and Radio Japan International, NHK, Tokyo (2004-2009).
